discussion and meeting new people.

Leisurely monthly photo projects will be given that you could
chose to participate in or just view the photos of those who did.
Guest speakers on:
photography techniques
photographers, cameras, digital photography
and instructional sessions in a casual environment.

Hors' devours and a variety of tasty beverages will be served.

ROBERT LISAK: SIX CITIES
A European Photographic
Grand Tour
May 15- (NOW EXTENDED
THROUGH) July 12, 2008
In this exhibition, local photographer Robert
Lisak collects telling and evocative details
of six major cities -Barcelona, Florence,
London, Paris and Prague, Rome.
“Engagement with the art, literature,
architecture, and history of Europe has
always been an important part of my
intellectual life. These photographs are part
of my attempt to think about, and map my
route through, that culture.” says Lisak. “
They came about by walking and looking
and trying to divine meaning from the chaos
of the world. “ he wrote.
Gallery director and curator Jennifer Jane
will be hosting an opening reception with
Mr. Lisak on May 15, 2008 from 5-8pm at
Exposure Gallery of Photography, One
Whitney Avenue, New Haven, Connecticut.
The exhibition is available for viewing
beginning May 8 at 5pm and during normal
gallery hours through June 15, 2008.
About the artist:
Robert Lisak is a photographer based in
New Haven. He has done a wide range of
work for commercial, architectural and non-
profit clients, as well as pursuing his
personal work for the past twenty years.
Robert is a member of ASMP and has an
MFA in photography from the Yale School of
Art. For the past fifteen years he has been
an Adjunct Professor of Photography at
Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.
where he has recently created the digital
photography courses in the Media Studies
Department.
