Exposure Gallery of Photography Presents an
Evening Talk with David Ottenstein on His
Exhibition of Images, Vanishing Landscape
An informal presentation is planned for May 8 at 6pm
when Ottenstein will speak in the main gallery on his
photographs of the changing rural landscape of Iowa –
farmland dotted with now abandoned schoolhouses,
barns, corn cribs that once were working single family
farms in Iowa. Some of the topics he will cover will be the
equipment he chose to use, his techniques for capturing
this aesthetic subject matter and the stories behind the
images and people he encountered, followed by a
question and answer period with the artist.
